Thanks to the guys at Wibya I can now connect even more with you guys!

Out of the edit area... How?

If you've recently visited my home page you would of noticed a Facebook Photo Badge.
If you pay attention to detail, you'll also notice that the badge is outside of the editable area.
I know my Resources page isn't quite finished, but I just wanted to share this little trick with ya'll so you can apply it to your own zoomshare website.

How is it done?
Well, to move objects out of the editable area you need to use a div - This is a simple piece of HTML that allows you to name and give an area specific properties.

How can I apply this to my own zoomshare site?
Yes, I know - Get on with it already, okay, okay...
This trick looks nice with a Facebook Badge, so for this example, I'll use one of them:

Step 1 - Go to facebook.com, login and click Facebook Widgets.
Step 2 - Copy the badge code and place it between the <--Facebook Badge START--> and "END" tags in the following code.
Step 3 - Open your HTML editor in your tools console and paste the code at the top
That's it, you're done!

Take a deep breath and refresh your site - Looks cool aye?

Who Said Hacking is Bad?

Of course when I say "hack" I mean the good kind, changing code. Not actual breaking into servers ;-)

The hacks are here! - So I've recently been updating my site, and I thought "hey, let's add some color". So, I've been working very hard (not really ;-]) to find and apply a few CSS tricks to change the style of the Zoombar and the new Subscribe Gadget. And I came up with.. Well, look around you.

I'm pleased with it, and I'll use it every time I use this template.

If anyone would like to use this hack on their own zoomshare website - Please, email me.

Welcome, welcome, welcome.

Arrhhhh here be me new blogo - Oh, wait.. It's not Talk Like a Pirate Day, wish it was!

But as pirate me above said, this is my "new" blog.

You may be wondering, "Why haven't you updated your site much recently?". This is because I've been busy with a few projects, (more about them soon). I recently switched to Google Chrome, the browser from Google. Right now support for editing my site in Chrome isn't available, so I've been getting used to Chrome, and I will use Firefox to update my site.

So, soon I will have some cool updates for ya'll to see!

Windows Home Server Power Pack 3 BETA

It wasn't too hard to see this one coming, but Microsoft has now officially rolled out the beta version of Windows Home Server Power Pack 3 which, among other things, brings with it a slew of new features that tie into Windows 7. That includes support for full image backup of Windows 7 PCs, Windows 7 libraries support for shared media folders, built-in Windows Search 4, and a number of Windows Media Center enhancements, as well as "better support for netbook computers," although Microsoft doesn't seem to have elaborated too much on that. No word on a release date for the non-beta version just yet, but Microsoft is apparently hoping to get it out in advance of Windows 7 -- and, yes, it will be a free update for current Windows Home Server users.
